About Us

After retiring from the Navy and teaching my father started Willie's Woodcraft in 1990 and made beautiful wood art (intarsia) pieces that focused on the natural beauty and color of wood. This is where the company developed a "waste not, want not" attitude and the hair barrette was added to the product line.  After his passing I picked up the company name started making and selling wood art and hair barrettes. In 2018 I took the company online and opened our first website, changing the name to Willie's Woodcraft USA and eventually adding cutting boards and other kitchen products.
